Since it was officially a military operation, there was no merchandise for individual people. Ships, sure, but not for people.

Yeah, pretty much. Never did anything other than publicity photos unless he got some from somewhere else.

Yeah. He definitely had kind of idol complex when we first started so I wouldn't be surprised if he had created a shrine before we started working together more often.

I suppose I could, you know, understand it. I've seen it happen with super heroes back home.

Yeah, all the time. Billy had posters and figures of more than a few figurines. I wasn't quite the same sorta nerd.

I see. Must be rather interesting to consider, since they are not made people in your world, but real people. I would think it would strange to see an action figure of myself.

Yeah, I guess it would. Knock-offs are always wrong so they can't get in trouble. So then you are looking at something that isn't quite you.

[Tommy perks up at that, and he slips through the door with a smirk. Speedsters, give them an inch, and they're suddenly several feet inside your space before you can blink.]

Yeah, I have some. I'll get it started.

At least not today. [Shiro said this with a chuckle before heading to make drinks] It may not be the best, but it is at least passable.

Well, I'm telling you today. ANy coffee is better than no coffee. And I'm mostly living on no coffee.

[As they get to the kitchen, he set about brewing the coffee. As there was no coffee machine per say, he had essentially created a french press to brew the coffee]

[Smart man, making that. Tommy didn't know what the hell to do so that he could get coffee. It was more important to keep the diner running, so he didn't do a lot for himself. Better to just, you know, provide for others and do the minimum for himself. It was better that way.]

Seems like you've adapted to random alien kidnapping well to make sure you could be comfortable.

Well, I've had practice at it and as far as random alien kidnappings go, this is not the worst possible option.

I'd considered trying to plant some of the beans, see if we could actually get a crop of them, but I think by the time they are roasted, that isn't possible anymore.
